About Us

Homeschool Teaching Academy is a small team of professional educators who are passionate about authentic education and who recognize that not everyone has the opportunity to find that in a classroom. Some kids need a special kind of attention, some kids are far ahead of their peers, and sometimes parents just have a unique set of values that can be difficult to match up with a traditional school environment. Whatever the case may be, Homeschool Teaching Academy is here to help parents master teaching.

Our founder, Zachary Hagen, decided to pursue building a place where parents who want to master the craft of teaching can come and get expert guidance that isn't aimed at helping them mimic public school or merely rely on some curriculum any parent can just run. Instead, Zachary envisioned a program that would give parents the essentials of a teacher education to maximize their teaching potential.
